The 2WD portion, and also the complete 2023 IFMAR World Championship is done in Chandler, Arizona (USA). Team Losi`s (TLR) Tater Sontag stepped onto the top spot of the podium and the sport at the age of just 16 – what an amazing job by the young man. He was TQ after qualifying and won A1 and A2 with his TLR buggy ahead of a crowd which just went crazy as Sontag crossed the line. The first IFMAR world championship title for him and the first since 20 years for the iconic Team Losi brand. Team Associated`s Spencer Rivkin finished second again (same as in 4WD) and showed that he is one of the three best 1:10 scale offroad drivers on the planet right now. Schumacher`s Broc Champlin made his first worlds podium as well taking thirs place overall.
