2WD Modified Buggy

Impressive Champlin seals early 2WD TQ with a ballistic LRP powered Schumacher

Broc Champlin (Schumacher) impressed the crowd one more time in the second round of 2WD qualifying. He had another clean run in front of the field and posted his second TQ run. With 2 out of 3 counting, he is already overall top qualifier here in Daun. A great result at his first ever EOS appearance. Micha Widmaier (Sworkz) was close to take the round from Champlin but he came short by 0.3 at the end of the run. Tommy Hall, Michal Orlowski, and Lee Martin completed the top 5 on Friday evening. The last round of qualifying will be on the line later today and the A-Main spots are up for grabs!

2WD Stock Buggy

Q2 goes to Burback – decision for overall TQ shifted to Q3

In the second round of Stock Buggy qualifying, we saw Mick Burbach laying down a brilliant drive onto the grey EOS carpet. The Xray driver took the win 1,5 seconds ahead of Simon Stegmeier and top seed Matus Benetin. Wouter Wynen and Sören Sparbier took P4 and P5 for the round and we will see the decision for the overall TQ in the upcoming last round of 2WD Stock Buggy qualifying. With Benetin and Burbach having one TQ run each, they are the hot shots for sealing the pole position in Daun.

“I had an almost clean run, and the result was really good after we changed a lot on the car`s setup. But I must also say that Matus (Benetin) made some mistakes. He is super-fast here and I think he would have finished in front of me without these mistakes. But however qualifying will end, I am enjoying the time on the track as my main focus is on the modified class in which I try to make the C-Main”
