Team Associated`s Haatanen challenges Orlowski for Q2 win but the Schumacher driver takes it…

Team Associated`s Joona Haatanen was hunting down Michal Orlowski in Q2. Orlowski had a clean track in front of him starting first after his win in Q1 and his Schumacher Cougar buggy looked dialed on the challenging EOS track. Joona Haatanen had a bit more traffic starting mid-pack but managed to be super close to Orlowski on the scoring and timing all the time.

With both only separated by a couple of tenths, Clement Boda and Elias Johanson also showed a great speed in third and fourth spot. In the end it was once again Michal Orlowski who took the win by 0.584 seconds over Haatanen. The two Schumacher cars of Ben Smith and Noah Ben Mohamed completed the top 6 for the round.

Michal Orlowski has the best shot for the pole position here in Daun and we will have to wait until Friday to see if he can seal the best spot on the grid for the finals. Haatanen was quick in Q2 and he will try to snatch the TQ away from Orlowski for sure!

Mister VP Design himself wins Q2 ahead of Bidovsky and Haemers

Valentin Peuziat from France, very well known for his amazing airbrush designs, took the win in Q2 of the Stock Buggy class with his Xray ride. Valentin had a great run and was able to outpace second placed Ales Bidovsky by three tenths of a second. As in Q1, many drivers had little bobbles here and there and the field was mixed up a lot during the run.

Schumacher driver Senne Pauwels posted the fastest lap of the entire Q2 (21.002) but is still lacking a bit of consistency which only brought him to P4 for the round behind Peuziat, Bidovsky, and Rick Haemers. Mick Burbach (Xray) had a good run in the b-heat and posted the fifth fastest time ahead of track designer Pawel Ntkovca from the Race Stars Poland team.

Hansen takes his first TQ run of the weekend, Neudeck in second!
After finishing fourth in Q1, Mike Hansen from Denmark was able to win Q2 with a huge gap of 5,5 (!) seconds ahead of Luca Neudeck, Jan Zalewski, Vinnie Vanelderen, and Pawel Trella. Many drivers crashed their trucks in Q2 and the battle for the TQ is going on between Hansen and Trella right now. The Stock truck drivers will have another round of qualifying late in the evening followed by Q4 on Friday morning!
