Team Associated back in the fight for the TQ as Kaerup wins early morning Q3
Team Associated`s Marcus Kaerup took the win in the third round of 2WD Modified Buggy in Daun. The race happened on an early Friday morning, and it looked like Kaerup had the best night of sleep laying down an “almost” error free run and also posted the fastest lap (19.671) of the entire field.
Schumacher driver Michal Orlowski who took the opening two rounds on Thursday lost 4 seconds of time in lap two when he rolled his Buggy onto the roof after a bad landing. Kaerup was battling it out on track against Tommy Hall, Noah Ben Mohamed, and Clement Boda in the top heat after Orlowski crashed.
In the second fastest group, Daniel Kobbevik, was the fastest and took the win ahead of Martin Bayer and David Ronnefalk. These guys had a great pace with their times being good enough to secure second, third, and fourth for the full round of qualifying behind Kaerup. With the field of drivers having such a high quality here in Daun, many drivers will have to push hard in Q4 to get one of the remaining spots on the A-Main grid.

Pauwels wins Q3 to battle out the TQ with Peuziat and Culmsee
After struggling with his driving in Q1 and Q2, top seed Senne Pauwels finally got it together and took his first TQ run of the weekend. He was 2 seconds ahead of Valentin Peuziat and Kim Nielsen while Pelle Culmsee took fourth spot ahead of Daniel Ortiz (out of the b-group). The last round of qualifying on Friday morning will be a showdown for the overall TQ between Peuziat, Pauwels, and Culmsee with the best chances for Peuziat after three complete rounds of qualifying!

Zalewski the third different TQ – pole position to be decided in Q4
After Mike Hansen and Patrick Bremstaller had won the opening two rounds of Stock Truck qualifying on Thursday, it was Jan Zalewski who took the win in a late Thursday evening Q3 session. Zalewski won the heat with an advantage of 0,7 seconds from round one TQ Bremstaller, and Pawel Trella from the Race Stars Poland crew. With Q4 on the line on Friday morning, four drivers (Wukonig, Bremstaller, Trella, Hansen) do still have a chance to claim the pole position in our very nice Stock Truck class here at EOS in Daun.
