“Cold as Ice” – Orlowski executes perfect A2 to wrap 2WD overall win

After missing out on the 2WD win at the last Daun EOS (January 2025), Michal Orlowski has now striked back with another clean run in A2. The Schumacher lead driver won again in front of his super-fast teammate Daniel Kobbevik (only 0.8 behind) and can watch A3 relaxed from the side-line now.

Kobbevik was shadowing Orlowski in the same way as in the first final, but there never was a real chance to attack – especially not when thinking of both drivers running for the same team. Third place went to Schumacher driver Elias Johansson who was able to recover from a poor A1 result. He will need another good one if he wants to make it a full Schumacher podium lock-out here in Daun.

Xray`s Bartosz Zalewski had another great drive from eight on the grid to fourth place and was followed by the Associated duo Marcus Kaerup and Joona Haatanen. With the overall victory already decided, the battle for the last podium spot will come down to the line in A3.

Pauwels takes A2 after Hofman “blackout”

TQ Daniel Hofman had a big lead with nine laps into the race. He was already some seconds ahead of second placed Senne Pauwels before a costly mistake ruined his race with a time loss of almost 4 seconds. Senne Pauwels took full advantage of Hofman`s “blackout” and drove to the victory in A2. Hofman could still hang on for second ahead of Pawel Trella, Sören Sparbier, and Sascha Frühwirth. The decision for the overall victory was shifted to the last final.
