Zalewski hunts down Orlowski in A2 to come short by just 0.361

The second 4WD buggy final was a close affair, especially in the last minute of the race when Xray driver Bartosz Zalewski was racing very close with Orlowski`s Schumacher buggy in front of him. The two Cayote powered cars had a little gap to third laced Daniel Kobbevik allowing Zalewski to risk pushing 101% – which still was not enough to beat a masterful driving Orlowski. After the disappointing result in 2025, Orlowski was very happy and delighted when he crossed the finish line.

Daniel Kobbevik finished third in A2 and will battle for second overall with Zalewski in today`s third and last A-Main. Ben Smith was having a great race as well in A2 when he took fourth place ahead of Johansson, Ben Mohamed, Neumann, Horne, Hall, Boda, and Haatanen.

Hofman takes A2 and adds 4WD victory to successful Daun weekend

Daniel Hofman from the Czech Republic was the star of both Stock Buggy classes at the 2026 EOS race in Daun. After winning 2WD on Friday evening, Daniel was also untouchable in the 4WD finals. He won the first two legs to seal the deal ahead of Frederik Hovgaard (Yokomo), Simon Cermak, Martin Skar, and Stefan Matas.

Team Associated`s Landen wins Truck A2

After losing A1 to Micha Widmaier, Associated racer Alexander Landen got the job done in A2 when he drove to the win ahead of Jörn Neumann, Max Götzl, and William Venables. Neumann was pushing really hard behind Landen and was super-close in the last lap of the race but an unlucky incident with a backmarker during lapping traffic took Neumann`s chances away to attack Landen before the finish line. The decision for the overall win went down to the last A-Main and it was all between Landen, Neumann, and Widmaier.
