Xray`s young top gun Zalewski shines again at the EOS

Top seed Bartosz Zalewski took the win in the first heat of 2WD Buggy qualifying (hot lap 31.600) after an intense battle with Michal Orlowski. The Schumacher driver (hot lap 31.780) came short to Zalewski by just 1.1 seconds but had been on a very promising pace behind Zalewski.

Orlowski fights back in Q2

In Q2 we saw another close battle between Zalewski and Orlowski. Martin Bayer and Joona Haatanen had been in the mix as well and showed a much improved performance on track. Out front, Zalewski was leading the race for most of the time, but made a costly mistake in lap seven of the run which caused him to drop down to fourth place.

Michal Orlowski too full advantage of it and sealed a TQ run in Q2 when he was closley followed by the Xray of Martin Bayer and the Associated of Joona Haatanen. With three more runs coming up on Friday, nothing was decided after these two qualifiers.
