Day one at the HUDY Arena saw the 2WD racers having four rounds of free practice, followed by three rounds of seeding practice. Everybody was working hard to find the perfect setup for the challenging hard packed dirt track, and also to find the fastest racing line. With the first two (of five) rounds of qualifying also taking place on Thursday afternoon, the first day was already very important.
2WD Modified Buggy
Orlowski and Ronnefalk closest to very strong Zalewski
Bartosz Zalewski was the fastest driver in seeding practice with his Xray buggy. The young gun from Poland was able to outpace Schumacher lead driver Michal Orlowski by almost five tenths of a second over the fastest two consecutive laps.
Zalewski looked super confident on track and we are already looking forward to Q1 and Q2 later today. Behind the two polish top drivers it was Xray`s David Ronnefalk in third spot ahead of teammate Martin Bayer and the Schumacher buggy of Daniel Kobbevik.

Hofman ahead of the competition
Xray racer Daniel Hofman was the fastets racer in 2WD Stock Buggy seeding practice. Hofman looked very fast on track, but his fellow countrymen Ales Bidovsky was also looking strong when he was only two and a half tenths slower over the two consecutive laps. Sören Sparbier (Mugen Seiki) was third fastest ahead of Oliver Kruse and Karl Erik Valter who rounded out the top five before the start of qualifying.
