4WD Modified Buggy
Schumacher and Xray on top at qualifying half-time. Who will TQ 4WD?

Q1- Michal Orlowski took the win in the first round of 4WD qualifying. The race was super close on top with many drivers leading some laps during the race. David Ronnefalk (Xray), Bartosz Zalewski (Xray), and Micha Widmaier (Sworkz) had been in the mix for the win but in the end, it was (once again) Orlowski who had an advantage of half a second over second placed and super fast Zalewski.

Team Associated`s Joona Haatanen took third for the round out of the b-heat while Micha Widmaier and Tommy Hall completed the top 5. Top seed Marcus Kaerup (Associated) posted the fastest lap of the round (19.420) but had to retire his car after three laps only, caused by a technical issue!

Q2- After showing a great pace in practice, David Ronnefalk managed to get a clean run in with his Xray XB4`25 to win Q2 by 0.14 seconds ahead of Michal Orlowski and a super-fast Jörn Neumann (Sworkz). Michal Orlowski lost the TQ for the round as he overjumped the step-up section with his buggy landing beside the track. His time loss was at around 2 seconds which just was enough to not allow him to challenge Ronnefalk again at the end of the run.

I am happy with my run. The car was feeling great since the start of 4WD in the morning. In Q1 I just made a small mistake and lost a possible P2 but I knew that I have a good pace and Q2 went to my favour. I will relax a bit now before the next round and see what I can do!
-David Ronnefald (SE) Xray|Cayote-
Behind the top three drivers Ronnefalk, Orlowski, and Neumann, we saw Hampus Berg and Marcus Kaerup rounding out the top 5. With qualifying now at half-time it looks like we will see a showdown for TQ between Orlowski and Ronnefalk!

4WD Stock Buggy
Hofmann and Bidovsky with a 1-2 for the Czech Republic as qualifying reaches half-time!
Q1- Top seed Ales Bidovsky took the win in the first of four rounds of qualifying. Bidovsky had a good run out there and posted the fastest lap of the race as well (20.448). Daniel Hofman finished second and was 2.9 seconds behind Bidovsky. The number eight car of Elias Jordan was quick, and he drove to P3 ahead of Mich Burbach and Rik Haemers. All cars are powered by the great working LRP X22 Stock Spec 10.5T handout Motors which are giving almost equal chances to all racers on the power side!
Q2- After losing Q1 to Ales Bidovsky, Daniel Hofman delivered a perfect run in Q2 which he won by 0,3 seconds ahead of Bidovsky. Both drives from the Czech Republic have one TQ and a second place now and they will fight for the TQ in the remaining two rounds here in Daun!

Aaron Waitz was third quickest with his Xray buggy and Rik Haemers and Kim Nielsen completed the top 5. After two rounds of qualifying, Daniel Hofman was in the overall lead as he had the faster time to his favour (compared to Bidovsky).

Modified Truck
Neumann doubles in Q1 and Q2

Q1- Sworkz driver Jörn Neumann took the win away from Q1 of the Modified Truck class. Together with his teammate Micha Widmaier, they had been the only two drivers posting 20-second lap times. Max Götzl (Xray) was the only driver who could stay in touch some seconds behind the top two, while fourth placed Burak Kilic was already 8 seconds behind Q1 winner Neumann and his Sworkz Truck.
Q2- In Q2 we saw another demonstration from Jörn Neumann. Even when he lost 4 (!) seconds in lap 4, he still was able to recover and work his way up to the top again. Sworkz driver Neumann took the win with a margin of 1.2 seconds over Max Götzl (Xray), Burak Kilic, and Micha Widmaier. Neumann is clearly the fastest and the win will only go over his table here in Daun!
