2WD Modified Buggy
Johansson leads Kobbevik and Hall at qualifying half-time!
The second round of qualifying saw Q1 winner Elias Johansson starting first out of the gate. During the run, his Schumacher teammate Daniel Kobbevik was able to jump onto the driver seat when the Norwegian racer took over the lead from Michal Orlowski (fastest lap of the heat 17.748) in the last minute of the race. Marcus Kaerup was also pushing hard with his Associated buggy and the top 8 had been incredibly close all the time on the challenging track in Daun.

The finishing order for the round saw Daniel Kobbevik posting an impressive TQ run ahead of Team Associated`s Marcus Kaerup, the two Schumacher cars of Johansson and Orlowski, and Joona Haatanen who completed the top five. The top 8 cars crossed the finish line, seperated by only 2.3 seconds (!). It is game on in 2WD and the battle for the spots on the A-main grid will get even more intense.
