2WD Modified Buggy

Kobbevik and Kaerup sharing the podium with race winner Orlowski

After Michal Orlowski had secured the overall win already after A2, the last 2WD Modified Buggy final was all about the remaining podium positions. Daniel Kobbevik launched his Hobbywing powered Cougar LD3 off the line from first spot and Elias Johansson was right behind him.

After Kobbevik clipped a pipe in the fifth lap of the race, Johansson and Kaerup both went by and took over the lead. Kaerup had a very impressive pace and was all over Johansson who was also hitting the pipe coming onto the straight in the ninth lap of A3.

Kaerup was now in the lead and had to manage the gap to a hard charging Daniel Kobbevik who found himself back on P2 after the Johansson crash.

After taking over the lead, Kaerup brought home the win like a world champion ahead of Kobbevik and Clement Boda to secure the last spot on the podium behind race winner Michal Orlowski, and second placed Daniel Kobbevik.

2WD Stock Buggy

Hofman wins thrilling A3 and is our overall winner

With Senne Pauwels and Daniel Hofman each having scored one win and a second place in the opening two A-finals, it was game on for the overall 2WD Stock Buggy win at the 2026 EOS in Daun. And this last final was a banger… Hofman had a good start into the race, just to make a huge mistake at the end of the straight in the second lap of the race.

Senne Pauwels went by and was leading the race. In lap six, Daniel Hofman was back on the rear bumper of Pauwels and both cars collided while going through a corner side by side. Hofman had the better ending in this unlucky race incident and drove to the overall victory with his Xray buggy here in Daun. Hofmann had the strongest pace all weekend long and his victory is well-deserved. Senne Pauwels and Pawel Trella joined him on the overall podium on Friday evening!
