4WD Modified Buggy
Orlowski and Zalewski with equal points after 2 heats of qualifying, Kobbevik sitting in third!
The first round of 4WD qualifying saw Michal Orlowski taking the win by 1.1 seconds from Xray`s very fast looking Bartosz Zalewski. Two seconds behind Zalewski it was Joona Haatanen scoring good points for Team Associated while he was followed by the two Schumacher cars of Elias Johansson and Daniel Kobbevik (fastest lap of the round 17.143).

Ben Smith took sixth for the round ahead of US top racer Aydin Horne who won his heat in the second fastest group. French racer Clement Boda (Associated), Dominik Vlasek (Xray), and Senne Pauwels (Schumacher) were completing the top 10 after Q1.

In round two, we saw Michal Orlowski hammering down the first 16 second lap time of the weekend (16.995) and his Cayote powered Cat PB was flying around the track. But after Orlowski made a costly mistake in the speed-bump section during the penultimate lap, Zalewski found himself on top of the board and won Q2 with a faster overall result than the one from Orlowski`s win in Q1.

Both are tied on points at qualifying half-time now and it is impossible to predict who will claim the TQ for the finals in Q3 and Q4. Daniel Kobbevik finished third in Q2 and was followed by Ben Smith, Joona Haatanen, Elias Johansson, and Clement Boda.
4WD Stock Buggy
Müller takes Q1 from Hovgaard and Frühwirth while Skar wins close Q2

It was kind of a big surprise when German racer Patrick Müller took the first round of 4WD Stock Buggy with a gap of one second from the Danish Yokomo driver Frederik Hovgaard. Xray`s Sascha Frühwirth was a couple of tenths behind Hovgaard and took a strong third place from the round. Frühwirth was followed by top seed Daniel Hofman (4) and Simon Cermak (5).

The second round was an even bigger surprise for us when we saw young Norwegian Xray racer Martin Skar taking the win. Skar had a clean run and was a second faster than Daniel Hofman who scored a good second place ahead of Frederik Hovgaard`s Yokomo, and Olivier de Montfumant in fourth place. It looks like we will see a very interesting race in our 4WD Stock Buggy class.
Modified Truck
Neumann wins first round of Truck in Daun

Landen and Neumann battling for Mod Truck TQ spot
Jörn Neumann took the win in the opening heat of truck qualifying. Jörn is one of the most experienced and best Stadium Truck racers in Europe and he was able to win Q1 ahead of Team Associated racer Alexander Landen, Micha Widmaier (Sworkz), Max Götzl (Xray), and William Venables (Associated).

In the second qualifier, it was Team Associated`s Alexander Landen who was able to set a new fastest runtime when he took the TQ for the round ahead of Micha Widmaier and Jörn Neumann. Marcel Schneider and Max Götzl completed the top five and we are very excited now for Q3 and Q4 to find out who will start on pole in the triple finals on Sunday.
