Zalewski takes Q3 from Bayer and Kobbevik

Xray`s Bartosz Zalewski won the third round of qualifying on Friday morning after a perfect run on track. Martin Bayer finished second for the round after Michal Orlowski crashed his Schumacher buggy in lap 3 of the heat on the backstraight. Zalewski posted the fastest lap of the run (31.845) and was the only one with a 31 second laptime.

Behind Zalewski and Bayer, it was Schumacher`s Daniel Kobbevik who finished in third place ahead or Orlowski, Ronnefalk, and Neumann.

Orlowski strikes back again in Q4 – battle for TQ on the line in Q5

Michal Orlowski was able to win Q4 by the small margin of 0.3 seconds over Bartosz Zalewski (hot lap 31.774). With both drivers having scored two TQ runs so far, the decision for the overall pole position was shiftred forward into Q5. Behind the top duo, Team Associated`s Joona Haatanen was third quickest ahead of Alexander Landen (Associated) and Martin Bayer (Xray).

The grid is set – Zalewski secures maiden EOS pole position

In the last round of qualifying, the battle was not only for the overall TQ, but also for the remaining spots in the A-Main. Bartosz Zalewski had another close run against Michal Orlowski in Q5 and took the win by a gap of one second over the Schumacher driver. It is the first ever pole position for Zalewski at the EOS and he will need to defend his position against Orlowski, Bayer, Haatanen, Kobbevik, Ronnefalk, Landen, Cavalieri, Widmaier, and Kilic in the upcoming triple finals.

Hofman secures important pole position at the Hudy Arena

After losing Q2 to Bidovsky on Thursday evening, Daniel Hofman found the way back into the groove and took another win in Q3 ahead of Bidovsky, Kuuse, Valter, and Sparbier.

In Q4 we saw another intense battle on track between Ales Bidovsky and Daniel Hofman. Both Xray drivers had a clear advantage over the rest of the field on pure performance and it was Hofman who took another win – and the overall TQ for the finals. Bidovsky lost some positions after he made a mistake and it was Karl Erik Valter who secured second place for the round ahead of Sören Sparbier and Simon Stegmeier.

The last round of qualifying was a battle for the positions behind TQ Hofman. Many guys had the chance to improve their starting positions and it was Oliver Kuuse who was able to TQ the last round ahead of Ales Bidovsky and Sören Sparbier.
