2WD Modified Buggy
First ever TQ run for Johansson, Hall and Boda taking second and third
The first 2WD Modified Buggy qualifier was full of many lead changes and top results coming out of the second and third fastest heats. When the top heat started, everybody needed to beat a strong time from Tommy Hall (Team Associated) who only managed to seed into the second fastest heat.

Once the “top dogs” started out of the gate, it was Clement Boda (Team Associated) who took over the lead in the opening stages of the race with his Team Associated ride.

Michal Orlowski (Schumacher) found himself on top of the board after three minutes as well, before world champion Marcus Kaerup (Team Associated) found his way back to the top going into the last minute of the race. However, a terrible last lap and a time loss of 6 seconds was throwing Kaerup all the way back to fifth in his group, and only sixth overall. Not what the world champ was looking for. Schumacher racer Elias Johansson took full advantage and TQèd the first round of qualifying by the small margin of nine tenths over Tommy Hall, Clement Boda, Daniel Kobbevik, and Michal Orlowski.
