Kobbevik lost P3 to Haatanen in the last final, Zalewski on a strong overal P2!

The last final was in the hands of Bartosz Zalewski. The Polish youngster drove a perfect race and secured his second spot on the podium behind his fellow countrymen Michal Orlowski. Daniel Kobbevik had some bad luck and added some costly driving mistakes to his race which let him loose a possible overall P3 to Team Associated`s “Finnish Iceman” Joona Haatanen. The 4Wd races had been very entertaining to watch and Daniel Kobbevik and Elias Johansson rounded out the top 5 on Sunday afternoon.

Hovgaard and Müller joining race winner Hofmann on the podium

In the last final, Senne Pauwels could takt the win after a stellar drive from 7th on the grid. He won in front of Patrick Müller, and Frederik Hovgaard. However, the win in A3 was only good enough for Pauwels to improve to P7 overall as his first two finals had been completely to forget. During the trophy ceremony, we saw Frederik Hovgaard (2) and Patrick Müller (3) joining our well-deserved race winner Daniel Hofman on the podium. Congratulations guys.

Neumann takes A3 but Landen celebrates overall victory!

A second place in A3 was enough for TQ Alexander Landen to win the overall race here in Daun. Jörn Neumann was able to win A3 but his overall runtime was a couple of tenths slower than the fastest time from Landen (posted in A2). With Neumann and Landen tied on points (3 each), the overall victory went to Team Associated and the Swede Alexander Landen. Max Götzl secured the last spot on the podium ahead of Associated racer William Venables, and the Sworkz of Micha Widmaier.
